I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics and Econometrics at the Department of Economics and Finance, Brunel University London, which I joined in October 2023.

My research focuses mainly on applied econometrics and health economics. I study child development and health inequalities during childhood and take an interest in policy evaluation aimed at reducing inequality and improving children’s development. In a related research agenda, I study the effects of globalization through its impact on trade, politics, and health across both developing and developed countries.

Before joining Brunel, I held positions at the University College London and the University of Oxford. I earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex in 2018. Apart from my academic appointments, I have also collaborated with several international organizations, such as the Healthy Weight Partnership, the World Bank, and the IEA, OECD.
